GitHub Copilot: AI-Powered Coding in Visual Studio Code In-Person

This workshop introduces GitHub Copilot, an AI assistant that integrates directly into Visual Studio Code and GitHub. GitHub Copilot can enhance your coding workflow by generating, completing, and debugging code in real time. Topics covered include:

  • Distinguish between Copilot Free and Pro, and access educational benefits
  • Installation and setup of GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio Code
  • Responsible AI use and guidelines
  • Use-cases to generate code, fix errors, and write better documentation using GitHub Copilot

This workshop will focus primarily on setting up GitHub Copilot and basic use-cases.
