Special Collections for Music Research Part 1: Finding Print Books and Digital Collections In-Person
Are you currently doing research involving music?
Are you interested in using music primary sources for your research, including scores, manuscripts, writings about music, and historical recordings? Are you interested in seeing special collections firsthand that feature music of the south, including patriotic music, jazz, blues, showtunes, popular music, and music at UA?
Then this workshop is for you!
In this first workshop, we will explore how to:
- Search for print books about music located in Hoole Special Collections
- Explore UA’s Digital Collections on music
- Access these materials
