Excel: Pivot Tables In-Person

Pivot tables are powerful tool that allows the user to coordinate and extract specific data points and data trends from large datasets.  This is one of the most overlooked areas of Excel, yet one of the most useful.

Students will be able to transform their spreadsheet into a pivot table, properly format their table to gain only the items necessary to their project, correct any errors in the foundation data and create new fields.  Students will also learn how to make charts using the various pivot tables.
