Introduction to Power Query In-Person
Power Query is a powerful data preparation tool available in both Microsoft Excel and Power BI that helps automate the process of importing, cleaning, transforming, and combining data from a variety of sources.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of Power Query through hands-on examples. Topics include importing data from Excel and CSV files, cleaning and reshaping datasets, changing data types, filtering and removing unwanted data, splitting and merging columns and preparing data for analysis in Excel or Power BI. No prior experience with Power Query is required, although a basic familiarity with Excel is recommended. By the end of the session, participants will have the skills needed to automate common data preparation tasks and streamline their analytics workflows.
